Our Story

In 2020, amidst a time of change and uncertainty, my father, Jose Luis Ramirez Romero, and I, Luis Ramirez, took a leap of faith and started Fruitland Construction, LLC. The roots of this journey, however, go back much further.

Growing up, my summers were spent working alongside my father, learning the craft of construction from the ground up. From a young age, I watched as he transformed spaces with skill, precision, and care. He was more than a builder—he was an artist, and I became his apprentice. Those summers shaped me, not just in skill, but in work ethic and dedication to craftsmanship.

When I entered college at the University of Utah, my goal was to major in business, driven by my entrepreneurial aspirations. I had always dreamed of starting something of my own, but I wasn't sure how or when that opportunity would come. My father, recognizing my passion, proposed the idea that we become business partners and launch our own company after my freshman year. His suggestion was the turning point that helped me realize those aspirations. With his experience and my business education, we combined our strengths and founded Fruitland Construction together. 

Today, we continue to work side by side, bringing our family values, expertise, and commitment to quality into every project we undertake. Fruitland Construction is not just a business—it’s a legacy built on hard work, trust, and the love of a father and son working together to bring visions to life.
